Funny enough, I took off the dealer’s sticker where I got the car from instantly. It was a weird vinyl thing that peeled right off. But... They stuck it on top of the original dealer! Being actual stickers, and about 4 years old, they didn’t come off without a fight. But it looks much better now!

I don’t know why dealers feel like they can advertise for free with dealer stickers and plate frames.
If I’m going to be representing them I want some sort of compensation.
Local Rancher leased a new GM dually to pull his horse trailer from rodeo to rodeo all across western Canada. He got it for really cheap cause it had huge dealership logo’s plastered over each side of the truck. The town it’s located in is know as “The Automobile City” and the dealer supplied a huge amount of trucks to farmers in the area.

That’s basically what the dealer I got it from looked like
I was so happy it came off easily. Until I saw the honda dealer one.
It mainly bothered me because it was crooked.

The dealer I bought my Juke from never put a sticker on, just a plate frame. That frame was not on for a day.

My Volvo when I got it at the dealer had a giant sticker and a chrome frame that said
VOLVO CARS FT MYERS
PROTECT WHATS VALUABLE
I don’t even know how that applied to my car. It was gone when I got home.

I’ve found that Goof Off/Goo Gone is a miracle worker when it comes to removing those gaudy dealer stickers and emblems.

All my car came with on it was one of these:
I actually had such a good experience with them, I though about keeping it on.

Yeah I mean if they wanted to give me like 20% or more off I’d gladly leave it
The Nissan dealer puts a huge rear window banner on, but it gets you free oil changes and tire rotations for life. So it might be worth it, especially if you don’t care too much about how it looks.

If you don’t like dealer stickers or any other shitty ugly advertising, why accept them putting it on the car in the first place? Tell them you want it all off the car before you take it home. They will gladly remove any stickers and tag frames if they think it’ll get you to buy the car.

Had I known the original dealer was hidden under it, I would’ve
I knew their badge was a plastic vinyl thing held on by a little sticky glue. It came off in 5 seconds. I wasn’t expecting the surprise of the old dealer.
It wasnt hard to do. I just was surprised by the laziness.

Glad you got the stickers off!
I am so glad the dealer I got my 6 from didn’t put any of that crap on it.
However, the stupid dealer we bought my wife’s CX-5 from (in December 2012) DRILLED HOLES IN THE FRONT BUMPER to mount their stupid dealer tag. I was livid. I meant to tell them not to do it because I knew already that they usually did that with new cars, but my wife’s grandmother was in the hospital (she died the night we got the car) and with all of that, I forgot.
Thankfully, we found an Alumni plate for our alma mater that looks decent according to my wife. But, I’m still mad about it.
